Herman J. “Ed” Horne, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011. He was a member of the Green Pond Baptist Church and was a United States Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Johnson, Orlando, FL, Michelle Horne, Alachua, FL; brothers, Marvin Horne, Soddy-Daisy, TN, Arville Horne, Ringgold, GA, Hurdest Horne, Chattanooga, TN; sister, Alpha Durrance, Gainsville, FL; grandson, Noah Johnson and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Clankston Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be 4:00 TO 9:00 Tuesday.
