Obit:
Johnny Wayne Brownfield, 52, of Soddy-Daisy, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, in an area hospital.
Mr. Brownfield was a member of the Shepherd’s Chapel, an avid fisherman and loved gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Geneva Brownfield ; brothers, Jimmy and Jacky Brownfield.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia J. Brownfield; stepson, David Allen Barbee; stepdaughter, Lisa A. Layne; sister, Judy Varner; and grandson, Jarod Barbee, all of Soddy-Daisy ; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Stancil officiating.
Interment will be in Smith Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.
