Freida "Peanut" Stevens, 70, of Hixson, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at a local hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Teamsters Local and the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Butch and Tommy Lanthripp; parents, Samuel and Lossie Davis; brother, James Davis; and sister, Estelene Newman.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Stevens; sons, William C. Lanthripp, Wayne Stevens; sister, Barbara Kirby; brothers, Johnny Davis, Larry Davis; several half brothers and sisters; six grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Don Kelley officiating.
Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Williamson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
