Obit:
Margie P. Griffith, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at a local hospital.
She was of the Church of God Faith.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert L. Griffith and Bud Campbell; her parents; one brother; and four sisters.
She is survived by her sons, David D. (Norma) Griffith and Roy G. (Bobbie) Griffith; daughter, Tootsie (Homer) Scates; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be at noon Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jim Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy.
