Obituary in The Chattanooga Times, Oct 2, 1964:
KAYLOR -- CLAUDE J., of Rt. 2 Soddy, Tenn., died in a Chattanooga hospital early Thursday morning after a lingering illness. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Kaylor; three sons, Walter and Herman Kaylor of Soddy and J. C. Kaylor of Sylmar, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Gooden, Soddy; Miss Jane Kaylor, Soddy; Mrs. Charlotte Lewis, Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Troy Kaylor, Cleveland, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Flora Jordan, Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild...."
