Bernice Weathersby, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in a local hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Ray Weathersby; son, George Thomas Weathersby; parents, George Robert and Minnie Kerley Sneed; sisters, Inez Ricketts, Louise Lowe; brothers, William "Bug" and Billy Joe Sneed.
She is survived by her sons, Marvin (Betty) Weathersby, Thomas Morgan; daughters, Doshie Smith, Presta Sue (Chuck) Neal, Karen (Charles) Wynn, all of Soddy-Daisy, Linda (Harold) Morgan of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Grossalina (Hank) Goins, Billie Jean Skiles, Susan Wynn, Kelly (Johnny) Howell, Kim (Neal) Clark, Dottie (Steve) Aaron, Nancy (David) Lecroy; foster son, Eddie Carden, all of Soddy-Daisy; very special caring nieces, Robbie Rucks, Jessie Ray Mincey, Lorean Stewart; 13 greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with William Smith, Allen Tarter, Bobby Webb, and Ronnie Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hank and Billy Goins, Terry Fawn, Johnny Howell, Steve Aaron, Karen Wynn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Warner, Reggie, Gene Ricketts, Derick Tallent, Odie Stewart, J.C. Mincey, Charles Rucks, L.J. Walker.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
