Obituary:
Kathleen Millsaps Scoggins, 73, of Hixson passed away Wednesday August 20, 2008 at a local hospital.
She was of the Church of God Faith and was the wife of the late William O. Scoggins. She worked part time for the East Ridge Car Wash, and was a member of Scenic City Friends at Parkridge Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Jesse Edward Lewis, parents; Lester and Blanche Millsaps, brothers; A.G. Millsaps, and Lester Millsaps.
She is survived by her sons; Tim (Tammy) Lewis, George (Kathy) Lewis, sisters; Lily Robinson, Pauline (Don) Schlief, Jessie Chambers, grandchildren; Chris Lewis, Kelli Lewis, and Charlena O’Malley, great-grandson; Jackson Eli Kessel.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Clayton Privett officiating. Interment will follow the service at Millsaps Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
