Ruby M. Johnson, 79, owner of Ruby's Beauty Shop, passed away on Tuesday, November 24 at Baptist Hospital Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25 at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Ward, Martha Pinner and Mary Ward, all of Covington; one son, Donnie Johnson of Nashville; one sister, Sara Cagle of Covington; one brother, Harold Ballard of Benton Harbor, MI; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
