Brent Pike Robinson, age 74, of 954 Owl Hollow Road, Shady Valley, TN passed away Tuesday night, February 1, 2011 in Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN. He was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean War. Mr. Robinson was a retired employee of Sprint. He was a son of the late Dana and Pauline Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Robinson and a son Danny Robinson.
Survivors include: two daughters: Lisa Shatterly of Shady Valley, TN, Anita Beasley and husband Sid of Fleetwood, NC; three sons: Tom Robinson and wife Fairy of Nashville, TN; John Robinson and Michael Robinson, both of Shady Valley, TN; three sisters: Frieda Robinson, Maline Harrell and Jackie Keller; one brother: Thomas Robinson; Fourteen grandchildren and Fifteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Brent Robinson was held in Blevins Cemetery in Shady Valley on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 1:30p.m. with Mr. Jim Hutchinson officiating. Military honors were accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
Pallbearers: Mike Robinson, Odell Wallace, Earl Jenkins, Paul Morrison, Brian McQueen, Gary Robinson, Chris Robinson and Austin Shatterly. Honorary Pallbearers: fellow co-workers of Sprint – Bristol location, Dean Snyder and Ed Hodge.
At other times family will receive friends at the residence 954 Owl Hollow Road, Shady Valley, TN.
