Kenneth Earl “Captain” Green, was the only son born May 14th, 1964 to the late Walker N. Bridgman and J.C. Green, in Jackson, Tennessee. He departed his earthly life comfortably at Jackson General Hospital on February 10, 2020, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was educated in Jackson, Tennessee public school system. He had previously been employed at Jackson Highway Patrol, Eastview Center as a “DJ” , and Jackson Utility Division (currently JEA)

At an early age, Earl professed Christ and joined Salem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Louis S. Briggs.

Earl will always be remembered for his loving smile and great sense of humor. He enjoyed telling his nieces and nephews stories, that will last in your hearts forever. We know that Earl will be telling this stories in Heaven. He loved eating spaghetti, and some good old fashion soul food. Earl favorite song is “Laffy Taffy”, which we know he will dancing to.

Earl leaves to cherish his memories with his four sisters; Albertha Green (Andre) Wilkerson, Jorica Strayhorn, Ella Green of Jackson, Tennessee and Lori Bowers of Nashville, Tennessee. One aunt; Kizzie Hunt of Detroit, Michigan. Six nieces; Courtney (Kier) Smith, Demetrius Goodman, Rosalynn Green, Chantil Bowers, Brittany Coleman and Hannah Mann. Four Nephews; Detric (Lajomda) Bowers, Tavis Bowers, Slyvester Bowers, Charlie Williams Jr. God son; Ronnie Jefferies. Special friends; Terry Goodman, Marvin Reynolds. Friends; Alberto Estes, Eric Cunningham, Jack Bowers, Patrick Kinnie, Stan Williams, He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
