Royce Wilson, 71, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 22 at the Munford Baptist Church with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Covington. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 21 at the Munford Baptist Church. Covington Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wilson was the former owner of the WKBL Radio Station, a member of Munford Baptist Church, Gideons International, a school bus driver for the Tipton County School Board and an Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Wilson; two sons, Don Wilson of Covington and Rev. Todd Wilson of Munford; one brother, Jimmy Wilson of Covington and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Woodrow and Essie Beth Parks Wilson, Sr. and two brothers, Jesse Woodrow Wilson, Jr. and Jackie Wayne Wilson.
