November 13, 1950 - July 31, 2016
Stephen Kelley Tynes, 65, retired director of Tipton Christian Academy, died July 31, 2016 in Memphis. Mr. Tynes was a member of Covington First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and choirmember. He was also a member of Gideons International. The husband of Pansy Durham Bridges Tynes, he also leaves a daughter, Stephanie Joy Hilleary (Kyle), of Memphis; a step-dasughter Tammi Skaff (Craig) of Brighton; a step-son Bo Hutchison of Ripley; his mother, Joy Kelley Ensminger of Crestwood, KY; a sister Patricia Kay Tynes of Louisville, KY; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral services for Mr. Tynes will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at 1 PM at the First Baptist Church in Covington. Visitation for Mr. Tynes will be held from 11-1 before the services begin. Interment will follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery.
