Rudy Thompson, 67, of Munford, passed away on Tuesday, January 8. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 11 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Randolph Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 10 at the funeral home. Mr. Thompson was a retired diesel mechanic as well as a skilled craftsman. He is survived by two sons, Michael Thompson of Stanton and David Thompson of Gilt Edge; two daughters, Rebecca Poole of Covington and Erica Thompson of Gilt Edge; one brother, Rodney Thompson of Covington; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
