May 17, 1787 - January 4, 1857
William was the son of Robert Hobday and Talitha Cotton Hobday, and the husband of Elizabeth Scruggs, they had nine known children. This cemetery is on highway 73, the original William Hobdy farm owned by Vernon Butt.
