JAMIE D. PERKINS, 76, of Adamsville, Tenn., retired teacher for Adamsville High School, died Friday at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Adamsville First Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Adamsville Cemetery.
Mr. Perkins, the husband of Christine Tidwell Perkins, also leaves local survivors including a daughter, Carol Mathis of Memphis.

CHRISTINE TIDWELL PERKINS, 82, of Memphis, formerly of Adamsville, Tenn., retired Adamsville High School teacher, died Wednesday at Allen Morgan Health Care Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Adamsville First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Adamsville Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer, Tenn., has charge.
She was a graduate of Lambuth College and University of Memphis. Mrs. Perkins, the widow of Jamie D. Perkins, leaves a daughter, Carol Mathis of Memphis, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Adamsville First Baptist Church.
