Smartt, Betty Katherine Hatfield

Betty Katherine Smartt of Soddy-Daisy died Monday, March 1, 1999, at her home.
She was 68. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Laura Hatfield, and a member of Mowbray Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Smartt; two sons, Tim and Jim Smartt, both of Soddy-Daisy; three sisters, Barbara J. Bowers, Peggy L. Smith, and Charline Taylor, all of Soddy-Daisy; one brother, Buddy Hatfield, Soddy-Daisy; stepmother, Dorothy Hatfield, Chattanooga.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Holloway, the Rev. Clyde Shankles and the Rev. Bobby Scott officiating.
Burial will be in Chancey Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
