Advocate, The (Baton Rouge, LA) - Friday, July 24, 1998
A full gospel minister and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died about 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 65 and a native of Chattanooga, Tenn. Visiting at Manor Baptist Church Full Gospel Ministry, 4756 Highway 412 East, Slaughter, 2 p.m. Saturday until religious services at 4 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Butch Taylor. Burial in Chattanooga.
Survived by husband, Gene B. Moody; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie Moody Levy and Nathan Levy, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Clyde Chauncey, Atlanta, Donald Chauncey, Charlotte, N.C., and Willburn Chauncey, Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, and a son, Byron Eugene Moody.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Daigre Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
