Martha's tombstone is located in the Martin Family cemetery. It is broken and worn. The name was readable but no dates are decernable. The tombstone bears her maiden name which might indicate that she died at an early age. According to census records, she was born about 1845. The Weakley County Cemeteries Volume I page 269 says she was born 22 Jul 1815. This is assumed to be in error in light of the 1850 and 1860 census age information which indicate 1845 to be her year of birth. The tombstone is very weather worn and subject to misinterpretation.
